The high of applicant numbers for police clearance letters (SKCK) makes the collected retribution soar. Each applicant at East Jakarta Metro Resort Police obligates to pay retribution amounted to Rp 10,000. Of a total 1,000 applicants, the collected retribution is about Rp 10 million. The fund then deposited to city treasury office.

Many of applicant haven't completed it as the queue is too long

Head of Public Relation Sub-Division for East Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Sr. Comr. Husaima stated that predictably today Tuesday (12/29), the number of applicant still surge. It was seen from there are still residents queue that happened until 5 PM.

"Many of applicant haven't completed it as the queue is too long. So automatically the retribution from SKCK will be more increased," he told.

Those who have complete files were accommodated immediately. But the letter could not be processed at that time. The files were saved first then processed on the next day. Because the office is close at 3 PM.
